1. Enrolment
Course fees are payable in advance before the commencement of the course.
Places are limited and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
A place on a course is reserved only once full payment has been received and the Drawing School has issued written confirmation by email.
A course may be purchased by one person on behalf of another. Once a booking has been confirmed for a named student, it may not be transferred to another person without the prior written agreement of the Drawing School.
The Drawing School reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking where it has arisen as a result of a genuine technical, administrative or pricing error, including accidental overbooking. Where this occurs, the Drawing School will offer an alternative course or commencement date where reasonably practicable. If the Drawing School and the student are unable to agree on a suitable alternative course or commencement date, all fees paid will be refunded in full.
2. Course Delivery
The Drawing School reserves the right, where reasonably necessary, to make changes to course content, tutors, timetables, classroom allocation or teaching methods.
The Drawing School reserves the right to postpone, reschedule or cancel a course where there are insufficient enrolments to operate the course, or where circumstances beyond its reasonable control make it necessary to do so.
Circumstances beyond the Drawing School’s reasonable control include, but are not limited to, severe weather, public transport disruption, public health restrictions, utility failures, instructor illness, government action, technical failures and other unforeseen events.
Where an individual class is cancelled, the Drawing School will endeavour to provide a replacement class or an alternative arrangement where reasonably practicable. Refunds will not normally be available for an individual cancelled class where a suitable replacement is offered.
If the Drawing School cancels an entire course, whether due to insufficient enrolments or any other reason, the Drawing School will offer the student a place on an alternative course or a later commencement date where reasonably practicable. If the Drawing School and the student are unable to agree on a suitable alternative course or commencement date, all fees paid will be refunded in full.
3. Refund Policy
All refund requests must be received by email at info@drawing.ie.
Full payment of the course fee is required upon booking. Upon confirmation of a booking, 20% of the course fee becomes non-refundable in accordance with this Refund Policy. This amount secures the student’s place and contributes towards the administrative and course preparation costs incurred by the Drawing School.
If a refund request is received more than 31 days before the published course commencement date, the student will receive a refund of 80% of the course fee.
If a refund request is received at least 15 days, but not more than 31 days, before the published course commencement date, the student will receive a refund of 50% of the course fee.
No refund will be issued where a refund request is received fewer than 15 days before the published course commencement date or where a student withdraws from a course on or after the published course commencement date.
The cancellation charges set out above represent a reasonable contribution towards the administrative, staffing and course preparation costs incurred by the Drawing School, together with the reduced opportunity to fill a reserved place at short notice.
Any refund due under this Refund Policy will normally be processed within 7 days using the original method of payment, unless otherwise agreed.
Where a student books a course that is due to commence before the expiry of any applicable statutory cancellation period, the student requests that the Drawing School begin providing the course before the expiry of that period. Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes or limits any statutory rights available to consumers under Irish law.

4. Student Absence
Refunds, credits, transfers or replacement classes cannot be provided for classes missed due to illness, holidays, work commitments or any other personal circumstances.
5. Student Conduct
The Drawing School is committed to maintaining a respectful, safe and focused learning environment.
The Drawing School reserves the right to refuse admission to, or require a student to leave, a class or course where their conduct is reasonably considered to be disruptive, intimidating, abusive, discriminatory, unsafe, or otherwise materially interferes with the learning environment or the operation of the Drawing School.
Where a student is removed from a course for serious misconduct, no refund will be payable.
6. Personal Property
Students are responsible for their own personal belongings. The Drawing School accepts no responsibility for the loss of or damage to personal property except where such liability cannot be excluded under Irish law.
7. Photography
From time to time, the Drawing School may photograph classes or student work for educational or promotional purposes. Where photographs clearly identify individual students, the Drawing School will seek any consent required under applicable data protection law. Students who do not wish to appear in photographs should notify the Drawing School in writing before the commencement of the course.
8. Health & Safety
Students are expected to comply with all reasonable health and safety instructions issued by the Drawing School and its staff.
Students must take reasonable care of the Drawing School’s premises, equipment, books, casts, artworks and other property. Any deliberate or negligent damage may result in the student being liable for the reasonable cost of repair or replacement.
Students must not remove any books, casts, artworks, teaching materials or equipment from the Drawing School without the prior written permission of the Drawing School.
Students must not handle rare books, original artworks or other designated collection items except under the supervision of, or with the prior written permission of, the Drawing School.
From time to time, the Drawing School may provide complimentary refreshments, including tea, coffee, biscuits and, on certain occasions, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Students are responsible for informing the Drawing School in writing, before the commencement of the course where reasonably practicable, of any relevant allergies, dietary requirements or medical conditions. Alcoholic beverages, where provided, are intended solely for responsible consumption by persons aged 18 years or over. Any food or beverages brought onto the premises by students are shared voluntarily and at the students’ own discretion. The Drawing School is not responsible for the quality, safety or suitability of food or beverages brought onto the premises by students. Nothing in this clause excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Irish law.
The Drawing School reserves the right to refuse participation in any activity where it reasonably considers this necessary to protect the health, safety or welfare of students, staff or visitors.
9. Intellectual Property
All course materials, demonstrations, handouts, notes, photographs, digital resources and other teaching materials supplied by the Drawing School remain the intellectual property of the Drawing School or their respective copyright holders unless otherwise stated.
Such materials are provided solely for the personal educational use of the enrolled student and may not be reproduced, distributed, published, recorded, shared or used for commercial purposes without the prior written permission of the Drawing School, except where permitted by law.
Students retain ownership of the original artwork they create during the course.
10. General
These Terms & Conditions, together with the information provided during the booking process and in the relevant course description, form the agreement between the Drawing School and the student in relation to the course booking.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any statutory rights available to consumers under Irish law.
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
The Drawing School may amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any amendments will apply only to bookings made after the revised Terms & Conditions have been published unless otherwise required by law.
